Homemade Brownie Mix

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter melted then cooled
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Make the mix
  • Sift together all dry ingredients. Place into a jar or airtight container and attach directions

On a label, write the wet ingredients and quantities with the directions see notes:

  • Using the brownie mix
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.
  • Melt the butter and set aside to cool slightly.
  • In a medium bowl, beat two eggs with the vanilla. Stir in the dry ingredients. Pour the melted butter into brownie mixture and mix until just incorporated. Spread the batter in a prepared 8-inch square pan and bake for 20-22 minutes.

Notes

To make the Brownies:
